Indigo Homes is welcoming the State Governments decision to extend the deadline for building boost grant applications to April 30.

Over the next three months, new homebuilders and property investors can still save on construction costs of up to $10,000 if they apply for the Queensland building boost grant.

CEO for Indigo Homes, Chris La Franchi, believes that the grant extension will be a good thing for the market.

Market awareness of the building boost didnt start to pick up until late November, La Franchi said.

I think the next 3 months will see a much better response to the building boost due to more increased awareness in the market than pre-Christmas, the Indigo Homes CEO added.

La Franchi said that the grants are helping to stimulate what is currently a very depressed market, by helping to lessen the price gap between established and new homes.

The Indigo Homes CEO believes that price gap rise was due to increased energy efficiency requirements and other government policies that have driven up the cost of new housing.

The combination of the building boost and potentially further interest rate cuts in February equate to possibly the best time to get into the market for people looking at building in many months, La Franchi said.

The building boost grant is available to eligible Queenslanders looking to buy a home to live or invest in for under $600,000.

According to the State Government, the grant was designed to re-ignite

Queenslands housing construction sector following a combination of falling property transfers and the economic impact of a summer of natural

disasters.

Indigo Homes is also extending its $4000 cash-back offer to coincide with the Governments building boost grant extension, which means further savings of up to $14,000 for home builders and property investors.

Indigo Homes is an award-winning Brisbane-based new home builder with designs for all sites traditional, sloping, small lot and acreage. However Indigo Homes does far more than just build homes.

The Indigo team has been building for so long theyve come to appreciate what the experience can be like for a homeowner particularly one whos about to build for the very first time.

For example, they know its hard to get rock-solid certainty with some builders about just how much a new home will cost, how long it will take to build, and what kind of quality will actually end up in the finished home compared to what you see in a display home.

They also know that when the process is so involved and new, and the end result so hard to imagine, its difficult to be hand-on-your heart confident that youre making the right choice.

And with all that going on, its also easy to see why building can be stressful, draining, and downright confusing. Building a new home can be stressful.

Its why the people at Indigo decided they dont just want to build the most stunningly designed, value-for-money, quality homes they can. They also want to make your building experience as relaxing as possible.

To help, theyve created Your Personal Blueprint, the No Surprises Building Book, the Crystal Clear Pricing Policy, and the Quality You See is the Quality You Get approach to building.

They all complement their wide selection of new home designs
